I have been married to Mary Beth for over 35 years.  We have 2 grown daughters (Meredith, Melanie,) a son-in-law (Chris,) and two wonderful grandchildren (Annabelle and Connor).

Before and during college I had several interesting jobs.  Three of which were working in a strip mine, doing demolition work and selling magazines door to door in Spain.   I graduated with honors from Bowling Green State University a long time ago.

Professional work experience prior to being a founding partner in Jam Best One Tire, began with Goodyear Tire and Rubber.  I started as an Assistant Service Manager in Youngstown, OH and rose to Zone Manager supervising a large group of stores in Louisiana and Mississippi before transferring to Toledo. Between leaving Goodyear and the startup of Jam Tire, I was a partner in a large commercial tire dealership.

Interests outside of family and work include the Cleveland Indians, the Browns, the Buckeyes, golf and good wine.  The most enjoyable moments are when we are together as an extended family or I have just one-putted for a birdie. Before I die, I hope to see a Cleveland Sports team win a championship and not the Cavaliers.

Professionally, I am in the twilight of my career.  However, the thrill is still there.  I enjoy the relationships I have with my customers.  Most are more than customers; in fact many are good friends.
